The latest version (3.11) of the handy utility FS2Xplane that converts FS sceneries into X-Plane format in now available for all platforms, LINUX included!
Version 3.0 of the very famous and excellent x737 Boeing 737 NG simulation is now available for linux users! The linux plug in is uploaded in the eadt website.
The bird flies really amazingly, with no frame rate hit (I had some fps issues with the previous version on my linux installation). Grab it on the eadt website.
I'm really impressed from my new simulator and can't keep exploring its benefits! I'm posting some more screenshots, from add-ons that I've enjoyed all these days.....
Since I moved from Windows (after 10+ years of using them) to Ubuntu Linux, the only thing that tied me to a Windows partition was my love for flight: MS Flight Simulator would only run on windows! I then re-warmed my "relationship" with X-Plane, which natively rans on all OS!
So here it is, a blog to share my experiences with X-Plane on Linux: installation troubles, add-ons, workaraounds etc. As I discover more, I share more :-)
